This year, I am the sub homeroom teacher for 4A. Many students who graduated from junior high are in 4A this year, so I was very glad to see them again. 4A is a very energetic class and they are always happy when I do homeroom on Fridays. I use mostly English during homeroom and always ask the student on class duty to write their impression of the day in English. I hope that this will improve their English conversation　skills.
I also give 4A students extra classes afterschool on Fridays. In these classes, I teach students about the Eiken interview test.

This month, teachers and students will move to the new school building. We have been watching it being built for months and months and it is now finally complete. I walk past the new building every morning and I have been so interested to see what it looks like inside. The school’s culture festival is also drawing closer, and it will be the first time for visitors to see the new building. I am excited to see what people will think of the new school atmosphere. There are also many other parts of the school that are being renovated. The “White House” building at the front of the school was completely removed and now, when I walk to school in the morning, I can see all the trees and the school’s main entrance clearly. I am excited to see what other changes will be made in the coming months.
